Communications and Brand Strategy (CABS) produces university-level, brand-aligned marketing communications for print, web, and new media. We also assist units in developing strategies to align their communications with the university brand while meeting marketing objectives.
Building and managing the brand
Communications and Brand Strategy acts as the steward for the Michigan State University brand and is responsible for conveying a coherent image of MSU as an educational institution committed to hardworking excellence and for helping all parts of the university work together to communicate the same core messages.
CABS provides a range of brand-related resources and guidelines for the university community to align their communications and marketing efforts with those of MSU.
Communications consulting and planning
CABS develops research-driven, results-oriented communications and marketing plans and assists units in determining objectives, target audiences, key messages, and strategies to guide brand-aligned communications efforts.
