Communications and Brand Strategy (CABS) produces video and still photos for use in a wide variety of university-level communications materials and also offers brand-centered photography and videography services to campus units.

Photographers in Communications and Brand Strategy specialize in producing images that reflect the needs of the broad base of communications professionals and educators at MSU. The award-winning staff uses the latest digital technologies and, for a fee, is available for location shooting, image consultation, and studio portraits.

Videography
The video production team in Communications and Brand Strategy has received numerous Emmys and has earned national recognition for programming used in the classroom, in the boardroom, and on network television, such as the Big Ten Network and PBS. For the latest MSU videos, MSUToday, Spartan Sagas, and the MSU YouTube channel.
Communications and Brand Strategy has the only full high-definition production unit on campus. It offers, for a fee, full-service video development including location shooting, editing, copywriting, concept development, and postproduction for the campus community. All productions are filmed in full 1080i high definition for the best representation of faculty and staff.

MSUToday Productions/Big Ten Network
Communications and Brand Strategy produces academic and campus life programming for the Big Ten Network and PBS, including MSUToday, a half-hour magazine-style show; MSUToday Presents, a collection of special documentary-style programs; and the Spartan Sagas television productions. CABS also consults with colleges and units featured in the programming on repurposing the content to maximize exposure on social media and websites.
