Jason spent more than eight years in newspapers and public relations before joining the media communications team in September 2008. Prior to joining MSU, Jason worked as a public relations counselor at a Lansing-area agency and also spent seven years as a reporter and editor at the Lansing State Journal and Port Huron Times Herald. Jason is a 2000 graduate of Kent State University' s journalism program.
